Keepsake ART Workshop!

Encore’s Visual Arts Program will be offering a Keepsake Art Workshop for students who would like to create a beautiful piece of artwork to memorialize their First Communion, Confirmation, Graduation, etc.
This fun group art class will give each student an opportunity to share ideas with other students and receive individual guidance from the art teacher as they create their wonderfully unique keepsake!
For your convenience, we will be offering two days/classes of this workshop:

  • Saturday, January 28th 9:45 – 11:45am
  • Saturday, February 4th 9:45 – 11:45am

The cost will be $80 per class. If you are interested in joining one or more of our Keepsake Art Workshops, please call or email our friendly office for more information and to reserve a spot.

First session of Encore’s Musical Theatre Company

Last Saturday September 24th, we began the first session of Encore’s Musical Theatre Company!
The students got together for two hours to learn about acting techniques, dancing & singing! Thank you to the wonderful coaches Alejandro Senior and Mariana Leon. Everyone had an amazing time! Looking forward to 12 more weeks of learning, creating and fun!

Free Art Workshops at our South Miami Location

Encore’s Visual Arts program will be hosting two free art workshops Saturday, September 10th and Saturday, September 17th from 11:00am to 12:00pm at our South Miami location. Our art workshops are open to all ages so that everyone has the opportunity to see our new Art Studio, meet our new art teacher and see what we have to offer.

Congratulations to Matthew Garcia!

Kudos to Matthew (violin student of Anna Ventura & cello of Ivette Falcon) who is par of the Gulliver Academy Middle School Orchestra.
In April, they competed in the Orlando Fest music competition and took home the first place trophy in the middle school division and title of Grand national Champions!
Congratulations!!!

Special Recognition to the participants of the 2016 Florida State Music Teachers Association Student Day Auditions.

These students not only had to perform a three piece program by memory, but they also had to take a written and aural theory exam, sight-reading as well as a piano skills test which included scales, arpeggios, chords, intervals & transposition.

Congratulations to our semifinalists for Young Talent Big Dreams 2016

Our students continue to excel in local events throughout Miami. This time, three of our voice lessons students were selected as semifinalist in this year’s Young Talent Big Dreams talent contest presented by the Actor’s Playhouse.
