Jacqueline Perez-Gonzalez studied at the Guillermo Tomas Conservatory of Music and Amadeo Roldan Conservatory of Music in Havana Cuba where she participated in several recitals and competitions.
She arrived in Miami in 1998, when she auditioned for and won the Greater Miami Youth Symphony Piano Concerto Competition. She was awarded a full scholarship to study piano performance under Rodolfo Brito at Barry University where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in 2003. Jackie received her Master’s Degree in 2007 in Piano Performance at Florida International University where she received full scholarship as a student of Kemal Gekic.
Jackie has performed in many recitals as a soloist, in chamber groups and as an accompanist, including various concerts at Florida International University and Barry University.
Jackie has been working as a music teacher in the private and public school system since 2004, she is currently the music teacher from 1st to 5th grade at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart and maintains a private piano studio in Miami.
